7th Mediterranean Forum

The Conference will bring together some 350 participants around forty speakers, in particular, policy makers and concerned administrative, academic researchers of the Circle of Economists, Institute of the Mediterranean and Femise, businesses, banks and employers' organizations of both shores of the Mediterranean, the European Commission experts and major multilateral organizations, in particular the EIB, the World Bank and the Center for Mediterranean Integration of Marseille (CMI).
The new leaders and the representatives of the most pioneering youth movements will be also invited.
The major media commentators in the national press will lead the debates, the representatives of the euro mediterranean media will be also invited.

Conference objectives:

-    Evaluate the implications of recent events on the economic thinking in the area
-    Define the basic conditions especially in food and health and ways to strengthen term on the long,
-    Identify and meet the expectations of youth, especially in terms of democracy and employment,
-    Make recommendations on actions to be undertaken at the regional level, particularly of the UPM, and the role that institutions can play.
