French Association for the Geographical Information (AFIGEO)
For 25 years, the AFIGEO aims to promote the development of the Geographical Information in France and worldwide . Its main objectives are : Inform, raise awareness, promote the geographical information ; Bring French geographic information actors all together ; Create synergies, facilitate good practices’ return, coordinate mutualization intiatives. With more than 200 members, AFIGEO is structured around three Poles (Companies - Industries, Practices - Users, Formation - Research) and a Club (Club International AFIGEO). The “Club International” contributes to the international economic development of the sector in conducting market research on behalf of its members, coordinating institutional actors’ networks, facilitating partnerships...

Center for Analysis and Proposals for Middle East and North Africa
CAPmena is an independent and non-partisan think tank. It strives to better understand the Middle East and North Africa, change the oftentimes negative perception associated to it, and strengthen its attractiveness in analyzing current dynamics and anticipating future evolutions, directly engaging the actual actors of the economic and political life and promoting “best practices” and shedding greater light on successful projects Once published, these studies typically receive extensive media coverage and are actively lobbied to public opinions and relevant decision makers. CAPmena is the dedicated think-tank to MENA region of CAPnouveaumonde, which goal is to raise awareness on the many countries and areas that have started to play – or are about to play – a major role in the international arena.

Cercle des Economiste
The Cercle des économistes, or economists’ circle, is made up of 30 academics. Based on the multiple and varied opinions of the group, their objective is to encourage economic debate. The Circle carries out regular activities: daily program on Radio Classique or weekly columns in “Les Echos”. Every year, it organizes the “Best Young Economist Award” with the newspaper “Le Monde”; an event in Aix-en-Provence to discuss a topic related to trends in the world economy; a public debate on world finance at the Paris Dauphine University, in partnership with NYSE Euronext and the “Rendez-vous de la Méditerranée” in Marseille in partnership with the Institut de la Méditerranée. The Cercle des économistes also publishes books and collections of essays.

FEMISE
The FEMISE Euro-Mediterranean network has been established as a French non-profit association and is composed of 90 economic research institutes from the 37 countries of the Barcelona Process. Supported by the European Commission within the MEDA regional framework its three main objectives are: 1. Conducting socio-economic research and making recommendations on topics identified as priorities for the future of the Euro-Mediterranean region. 2. Publishing and disseminating this research to public and private institutions—national or multilateral—and to the academic world. 3. Encouraging the broadest possible dissemination through the most appropriate means.

Institut de la Méditerranée
The FEMISE is coordinated be the Institut de la Méditerranée (France) and the Economic Research Forum (Egypt) as part of its mission of lobbying and influence. The Institut de la Méditerranée was created in 1994 as an association by Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, the French department of Bouches du Rhône, the City of Marseilles and the Marseille-Provence Chamber of commerce, Euromed Management. The activities of the Institute revolve around two major and complementary functions: on the one hand, lobbying and on the other, the identification and follow-up of projects for founding members, which make it a tool of analysis, of expertise and project development on the great Euro-Mediterranean region.

European Parliament
The European Parliament is the democratic institution of the European Union (EU): its 736 members are directly elected every five years by over 375 million citizens across 27 countries. Members of the European Parliament vote legislation that is directly binding in all EU countries, in areas such as financial regulation, energy policy, agriculture, fisheries, consumers' rights, health and the environment, civil liberties, transport... MEPs also help define and supervise European foreign policy, by voting on the EU's foreign affairs budget, on an equal footing with European ministers in the Council. The Euro-Mediterranean partnership is at the forefront of debates on foreign affairs at the European Parliament, and MEPs from the South-East of France have always played a key role in influencing Euro-Mediterranean policies and encouraging progress towards a "Union for the Mediterranean". Since 2004, the Euromed Parliamentary Assembly brings together each year a delegation of MEPs and their counterparts from the other side of the Mediterranean to discuss and vote resolutions on issues of strategic importance to the development of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership.

Finances & Conseil Méditerranée (FCM)
FCM is a French association and network located in Marseille, gathering about 95 members around the Mediterranean area (south of France, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria). Its members are mostly bankers, accountants, lawyers, consulting firms… working for the economic development of small and medium entreprises. FCM obtained the label PRIDES (which corresponds to a “cluster” for innovation, international, training and new technologies) from the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in july 2008. Since then, we have developed a complete program to contribute to SEM’s growth, in financing issues as well as export needs.

Institut Méditerranéen de l'Eau
IME is a non profit organisation under the French law of 1901, created in Rabat (Morocco) in 1982 grouping together actors of diverse origins (local and territorial authorities, ministerial authorities, professionals public and private) in the problem of the water and sanitation (energy, irrigation, drinking water, industry, non conventional resources) in the Mediterranean. This NGO with advisory capacity to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations operates as a network for thought, study and exchange on fundamental issues related to all aspects of water and sanitation. It constitutes a frame of dialogue. IME contributes to implement, within the framework of an intense policy of multilateral and trans-Mediterranean cooperation, the programmes of study, research and training necessary for the integrated water ressources management, by taking into account the saving of the natural environment and its control under its most diverse aspects, into a concept of sustainable development.

Junior Chamber International Marseille
JCI is an international movement of young people who propose new areas of development, whether economic, community, cultural, social or humanitarian. His actions are based on civic values of free enterprise, individual liberty, respect for the law and enhancement of the human person. Junior Chamber International of Marseille – JCI Marseille - was founded in 1953. She has worked at in the Mediterranean city on these various themes, in close cooperation with local authorities and the economic, social and culture of Provence. JCI Marseille is also a school to taking responsibility. It allows to gain in confidence and often to discover its true potential, that, through the active participation of its members in its actions, supported by the many opportunities to form.

The Maison Mediterranéenne des Métiers de la Mode aims at sustain and develop the whole fashion, clothing and distribution industry in Paca region, in France and in the Mediterranean area. It gathers in a same place 3 indissociable “Maisons” which synergies tends to foster a significant role of Marseilles and its clothing industry in the Mediterranean economy and culture strategy. Based on a specific growth driver : Training – Creation – Economy and Culture, each “maison” strengthen the developpement of companies by building fair and balanced partnerships with South Mediterranean counterparts.

United Nations Industrial Development organization
UNIDO is the specialized agency of the United Nations that promotes industrial development for poverty reduction, inclusive globalization and environmental sustainability. The UNIDO has three thematic priorities, among which Environment and Energy. Through this priority, UNIDO mainly addresses Millennium Goal 7 “ensure environmental sustainability”.
Its mandate is to promote and accelerate sustainable industrial development in developing countries and economies in transition. UNIDO services are based on two core functions: as a global forum, UNIDO generates and disseminates industry-related knowledge; as a technical cooperation agency, it provides technical support and implements projects.

Union Maritime pour la Méditerranée
The Maritime Union for the Mediterranean is an association that seeks to promote exchanges between European Union countries and Mediterranean countries in fields related to port activities, the maritime sector and any related activities. The association’s main activities include professional training, information technology media, and in general, information exchanges on projects that may promote maritime transfers between the countries concerned. An initiative of Marseille-Fos port professionals, the association looks forward to welcoming port professionals from the Euro-Mediterranean area.
