This year, it is celebrating its 10th year and will take place in Marseille from Wednesday the 2nd to Friday the 4th of November 2016 with its central theme:
“Digital Technology: for a Connected Mediterranean”
The point of this 10th edition is to promote what the area and its companies have to offer in connection with this theme and to offer a space for meetings, exchanges and debates around the development of digital technology in the area and in the Mediterranean basin. The objective is also to bring regional skills at an international level to the forefront, to encourage good practices, to highlight the figures of Mediterranean digital technology - their projects and their success stories - and to identify new perspectives for development in this sector.
The Mediterranean Economic Week will be the opportunity to debate digital technology and to meet its operators. This sector will be presented through three dimensions:
- Digital technology: economic sector and service tool for other sectors
- Digital technology: an answer to current social challenges
- Marseille and the Mediterranean: hub of Euro-African exchanges
This year, the event will enable us to showcase innovative companies, startups, projects and technology owners to the digital point. Local, regional, Mediterranean and African companies will be there!
In total 20 countries are represented, more than 3000 participants and 300 contributors are expected.
